Describe the move before planning the sale
Note your destination plans, preferred departure date, and any commitments already made. Then explain whether the house would be occupied until you leave or available earlier. This gives a possible buyer a practical picture without assuming that a renovation is part of the process.
List preparation only where it is relevant
The property may need little preparation, or you may have work underway. State which applies. Separate tasks you have decided to finish from projects you were considering only for a future listing, then compare any proposed purchase with that actual plan.
Compare the house now with the proposed finished version
A current-condition offer may differ from what you hoped for after improvements. Compare it with the remaining work, expense, and uncertainty rather than with a finished-house idea alone. Ask what the offer assumes and which review steps remain.
Make possession a separate checkpoint
Your move, a contractor's completion date, and a buyer's possession date may not align. Clarify the proposed sequence and put agreed responsibilities in writing before relying on it.
